Frequency Asked Questions

  • How do I order a graphics kit?

Browse our graphics kits, select your machine model/year, choose finishes and add-ons, and place your order directly through our website. You’ll get a digital proof before we print to make sure everything looks perfect.

  • Can I customize my kit with my name, number, or sponsors?

Yes! All of our kits are customizable. When you order, you’ll have fields to enter your details. If you need something more custom, just reach out—we’ll work with you.

  • What finishes do you offer?

We offer standard gloss, matte, chrome, holographic, and sparkle laminates. Each finish changes the overall look of your graphics and adds its own style.

Prep

Prep is 90% of the job. The other 10% is bragging about how good your bike looks afterward.

  • Do I need brand-new plastics for graphics?

Not always. New plastics are ideal, but even used plastics can work if they’re in good shape. Cracks, deep scratches, or heavy wear will show through and reduce adhesion. Even if your plastics are brand-new, we recommend wiping them down with isopropyl alcohol before installing graphics. Fresh plastics often have a factory mold-release coating that must be removed for the graphics to bond properly.

  • How should I clean my plastics before installing graphics?

Start by washing with soap and water, then wipe thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, grease, and oils. Avoid silicone-based cleaners (like Armor All or WD-40)—they leave a film that prevents proper adhesion.

  • How do I remove old adhesive from my plastics?

Start by peeling off the old graphics as carefully as possible. Any sticky residue that’s left can be removed with an adhesive remover like Goo Gone, 3M Adhesive Remover, or even a little WD-40 (just make sure to wash it off afterward). Heat helps—use a hair dryer or heat gun on low to soften stubborn glue.

pressure washer can also blast away leftover adhesive after heating, especially on tougher spots, but be careful not to gouge the plastic by holding the nozzle too close.

Once the adhesive is gone, always finish with an isopropyl alcohol wipe to strip away any oils left behind. If you skip this last step, your new graphics won’t bond properly.

  • Can I put graphics over old graphics or decals?

No. Old vinyl and adhesive block the bond of new graphics. Peel everything off, remove leftover glue with a safe adhesive remover, and finish with an alcohol wipe to leave the surface completely clean.

Installation

This isn’t a holeshot—line it up, breathe, and take your time.

  • Do I need to install graphics in a certain temperature?

Yes. Graphics install best in warm conditions (65°F or warmer). Cold plastics and vinyl don’t bond well, which can cause lifting later.

  • What temperature should I use with a heat gun?

Keep the heat gun or hair dryer on low to medium (about 150–160°F). You’re just warming the vinyl to make it flexible—not cooking it. Too much heat can stretch or damage the material.

  • What’s the best technique when applying?

Start from the center of each piece and work outward, pressing firmly and using heat as needed to hug curves. This pushes air out and prevents bubbles.

  • Do I need to post-heat my graphics after installation?

Yes. Once your graphics are fully applied, go back over all the edges and corners with a heat gun or hair dryer on low. Warm them to about 180–200°F and press them down firmly. This step locks the adhesive into the plastic and prevents lifting.

After Care

Take care of your graphics, and they’ll take care of your style.

  • How long should I wait before riding after installing graphics?

We recommend waiting 24 hours before riding to let the adhesive fully cure. This ensures your graphics are bonded tight before they see dirt, mud, or pressure washing.

  • Can I pressure wash my bike after graphics are installed?

Yes, but keep the nozzle at least 12–18 inches away and avoid blasting directly at the edges. Too much pressure up close can lift corners over time.

  • What’s the best way to clean my plastics after graphics are installed?

Mild soap and water works best. Avoid harsh chemicals, degreasers, or silicone sprays (like Armor All) on your graphics, as they can damage the laminate or weaken the adhesive.

  • How do I make my graphics last longer?

Post-heat the edges after washing, store your bike out of direct sun when possible, and avoid dragging boots or gear across panels when getting on and off. A little care goes a long way.
